Card fifteen · Check sport rules before use

Is it allowed in tested sport?

No. The world sport list names it and bans the class at all times.

Short answer

The World Anti-Doping Agency's 2026 prohibited list names CJC-1295 in the growth-hormone-releasing class.

That class is prohibited in and out of competition.

Why “it only prompts your own hormone” does not help

World sport bans both growth hormone and peptides that make the body release it.

Prompting the body to make its own growth hormone is exactly why these peptides are banned, so it is not a way around the rule.

The separate medical process

An athlete who needs a banned medicine for an illness can apply for an official medical exception, called a therapeutic-use exemption.

The relevant anti-doping body can explain which process and timing apply to that athlete.

Keep this line

For a tested athlete, a claim of “natural release” does not change the prohibited-list entry.
