Card nine · Separate coverage from a sales quote

Is there one standard insurance answer?

No promise on a sales page can tell you what your own health plan will pay.

Short answer

As of September 2026, there was no FDA-approved CJC-1295 product with an official label or maker price.

That leaves several separate questions: the visit, tests, the product being offered and the rules of the person's own plan.

Questions that produce a usable answer

  • What exact service or product will appear on the bill sent to the plan?
  • Is the quote for care, tests, medicine or all of them?
  • Is prior permission from the plan required?
  • What written reason will the plan give if it says no?

Do not let coverage language change product status

A compounded medicine remains unapproved even when a licensed pharmacy made it.

Whether a plan pays is a money decision. It is not an FDA approval, and it is not proof from studies that the product works.

Keep this line

Ask the plan directly and ask for the answer in writing; treat that answer as a payment decision, not a scientific verdict.
